Who is Tony Bochene

Free lance journalist, survivalist, big game archery hunter, sportsman, small aircraft pilot, gun collector, long time mountain search and rescue team member, career outdoorsman, Tony Bochene describes himself as; “A self prescribed social mutant who has simply refused to evolve. A caveman, skillfully pretending to be a civilized human being.”

Mr. Bochene has been an award winning outdoor writer and photojournalist for over 30 years, specializing in adrenaline sports and mountaineering expeditions. When it comes to foreign romance he not only talks the talk but he definitely walks the walk. Over thirty years ago he flew to the Philippines to marry a young Filipina mail order bride he knew for only five days, to rescue her from the crumbling Marcos regime because he thought her country would fall to the communists.

Amazingly Tony’s first hastily arranged  "instant marriage" lasted a decade to the day, but after his divorce he discovered he'd been totally spoiled by his traditional Asian wife and simply couldn't go back to dating contrary overly complicated frumpty-dumpty American women. The second time around he married a feisty Russian vixen from St. Petersburg and their rocky marriage lasted 7 years. It was during their marriage that he started working independently within the rapidly evolving international romance industry. He is now happily married for the third, and final time, or so he claims, to a lovely Latina from Medellin Colombia.

Of his three international marriages, always true to his character, Tony only has one thing to say; "I've definitely noticed a weird pattern in my unusual love life. Amazingly as I get older, my wives continue to get younger."

Over the last 15 years as an international business consultant Mr. Bochene has worked all over the globe within the international romance industry, as a tour leader, writer, and personal consultant for hundreds of lonely bachelors. Mr. Bochene has this to say about the evolution of the old static un-romantic mail order "Point and shoot" grab a bride business, to the wonderful exciting international romance industry we have today.

"Mail Order brides was about exciting as it sounds. In the olden days we ordered a little black and white catalog of several hundred women, 99.9% of whom were always Asian, long black hair, 4 foot tall,  and looked almost exactly the same. It came in a plain brown wrapper, you wrote snail mail letters, that often took 90 days one way, and checked your mail box every day for responses that seldom arrived. I'm serious, it was like crawling across death valley on your belly and if you were lucky enough to actually get to the woman's country, with all your body parts still connected, and meet any of the women you had been writing to, and most guys weren't that lucky, you sort of took whatever you could get because at that point you were already invested. It was almost always a one shot deal. You either married someone, anyone within reach, or you got on the plane and came back home. Never to return.

But today smart aware bachelors literally have millions of incredibly gorgeous sexy slender exciting and exotic foreign women to choose from, on at least three different continents, and many guys are actually moving overseas just for the women! If you ask me that's quite a bit smarter than just moving there for the tax breaks or the weather. Quite honestly with the incredible virtually unlimited foreign options single men have today there is absolutely no reason for ANY man within the sound of my voice to spend one more night alone."

Tony continues with;

"I clearly remember my first trip to the amazing city of St. Petersburg Russia over 15 years ago with ten other lonely bachelors, as the new concept of group tours was just taking off.  I was stunned into total silence by the incredible volume of slender sexy and very classy Russian women, and instantly mesmerized with the whole ludicrous, totally male concept of going overseas for the sole purpose of procuring a mate, and I remember thinking; is this really legal?"

Yes it is but I'm going to warn you right now before you make your first trip, once you go foreign you can't go back!

Still, don’t let anyone fool you. Just like any adventure worth experiencing, especially considering that millions of women are involved,  there are inherent risks, and as far as predictable results I'll tell you right here and now the cold hard reality is this; it costs what it costs and it takes however long it takes, and doing it the instant way I did, twice, is definitely NOT the answer. But I can tell you this for sure boys, if you do your homework and listen to what we tell you on this site, the rewards are definitely there. But be advised International Romance is not a game for the weak at heart, or for the overly sensitive touchy feely new age male. This is a man’s game and it’s not for sprinters. Only the distance runner makes it across the finish line,  and if you aren’t willing to accept that then you should probably stay at home and concentrate on improving your texting skills, or fine tuning your Facebook page.
